CENTENARY PHOTO GALLERY
During the COVID-19 pandemic when New Zealand went into lock-down we posted a photo each down to lift the spirits. Here are the photos that were posted

DAY ONE
Day 1 started with this one that was taken early on one of the mornings before the crowds arrived.

DAY TWO
Day 2 is this picture of the clubhouse full with members watching historical footage from over the years.

DAY THREE
Day 3 is this picture of the traditional wood planked X Class Vanguard which we had on display for the weekend.

DAY FOUR
Day 4 is a picture of the Williams family enjoying dinner before watching the historical footage movies. They are one of many families that have long ties with EBYMBC.

DAY FIVE
Day 5 is a photo of a prize board that a member put together for the display we had up in the members lounge for the weekend. Someone was obviously a good yachtie!

DAY SIX
Day 6 showed a few of the championship pennants that were on display for the weekend.

DAY SEVEN
Day 7 is a photo of three of the families that have a huge tie to EBYMBC, named in alphabetical order: the Hargreaves, Wagstaff & Williams.

DAY EIGHT
Day 8 and we are starting to look at boats. This Idle Along is owned by Gavin Pascoe and the Wellington Classic Yacht Trust, it was sailed in the Classics race by Mike Dunlop.

DAY NINE
Day nine's photo which is slightly late is the mighty Wakarere powering upwind during the Classics Race.

DAY TEN
Day 10 is a picture of Mataroa, one of the launches that took place in the Classics Race.

DAY ELEVEN
Day 11 got a bit philosophical - As with life, things don't always go to plan, but that doesn't stop the smiles. Here the Hargreaves boys, forgot to do up a shackle properly. I'll let them debate whose fault it was...

DAY TWELVE
Day 12 is a picture of Pandora sailing during the Classics Race. It was a fantastic sight seeing everyone out on the water over the weekend.

DAY THIRTEEN
Day 13 is a picture of Nizam, she has a long history with EBYMBC and families involved with the club.

DAY FOURTEEN
Day 14 is a photo of Shemara, skippered by Gavin Pascoe, jockeying for position on the start line of the Classics Race.

Day 15 is a photo of Phil Williams racing hard in his Zephyr during the Classics Race.

DAY SIXTEEN
Day 16 is an image featuring our Club launch Pania, who would have been on duty as the finish boat for the NZ Opti Nationals which were due to start today at Worser Bay Boating Club if this COVID-19 Pandemic hadn't arrived.

DAY SEVENTEEN
Day 17 is proof that Mike Dunlop did sail the Idle Along in the Classics Race. Also, Happy Birthday for yesterday Mr Dunlop!

DAY EIGHTEEN
Day 18 is a photo of Galatea charging across the bay during the Classics Race

DAY NINETEEN
Day 19 is an image of Chris Hargreaves racing his Zephyr during the Classics Race. Chris was Commodore of EBYMBC during the Centenary Season.

DAY TWENTY
Day 20 is a photo of Logan Bay chasing the fleet up the Bay during the Classics Race.

Day 21 is a photo of our current Commodore flying up the Bay during the Classics Race. It just so happens to also be her Birthday today. Happy Birthday Jane.

Day 22 and we've had our first IT issue... I can't access the centenary photos file. So we have had to jump forward to this photo from Opening Day 2019 taken by Deb Williams.

DAY TWENTY-THREE
Day 23 is a photo taken by Alex Paterson of Vanguard being lifted into the clubhouse before the Labour Weekend celebrations

DAY TWENTY-FOUR
Day 24 is another photo from Opening Day for the 2019-20 season with the fleet heading for Point Halswell.

Day 25 is a photo of the starting line on Opening Day 2019 showing a the range of boat sizes that were on the water (and this doesn't include the dinghies).
