Then Evans Bay Sailing Academy has just the answer

The Academy offers courses to introduce adults to sailing. No experience is required. All the instructors are volunteers, trained to Yachting New Zealand requirements and courses are run in accordance with YNZ guidelines and standards.

The Club owns a fleet of training boats including:

• 420 (two handed international class centerboard yacht with spinnaker and trapeze)
• RS Feva (doublehanded adult centreboards)
• Phase 2 (doublehanded adult centreboards)

More advanced tuition, and training in your own boat, can also be arranged. All sizes and types of boat catered for.
