The club has a number of dinghies of different types available for hire.

You can hire a club boat by speaking to any Learn to Sail instructor or through the club office.

You need to be a club member who has passed a Learn to Sail course (Yachting New Zealand Level 2), and there must be a rescue boat on the water while you are sailing. There will always be a rescue boat out during races or when classes are in progress, and at various other times - just chat to instructor to find out when.

If you want to take part in club racing you might like to consider pre-booking a boat. This way you get to use the same boat for each race, meaning your results will be compiled accurately. Of course it also guarantees that you won't miss out! Prices for a half day hire (double for full day) are as follows:
